Hi,
I am currently developing a set of keys to the species of turtles in Australasia for Carettochelys.com. They are far from complete. However I would appreciate feedback on them from people familiar with Chelids and other Australasian Turtles.
At present they only deal with Sea Turtles, Chelids and FRT's. I will include Pelochelys as well at a later date.
They go to species with Elseya and Cheloniidae, but do not include the undescribed New Guinea forms. I should have them to species with Emydura shortly.
Then I will do Macrochelodina, followed by Chelodina. Monotypic species key out at Family level largely.
So please send feedback and comments. If you have specimens that show characters you think I should use let me know this too.
