Literatur zu Pogona für Arbeit?

Hallo!

Ich hab meine Anfrage auch ins Bartagamenforum gestellt, aber hier noch mal:
Da ich in den nächsten Monaten eine Bakkalaureatsarbeit zum Thema "Pogona" schreiben werde hätte ich eine Frage an euch:

Ich habe die Bartagamenbücher von Köhler, Hausschild und Palika.
Kennt ihr noch weitere Bücher, die ich für eine solche Arbeit verwenden kann?

Besonders interessiert wäre ich an englischer Literatur zum Thema. Hat da jemand etwas Zuhause bzw. kann mir jemand aus erster Hand zu einem (oder mehreren) englischen Büchern raten?

Außerdem bin ich auf der Suche nach Publikationen über Pogona in freier Natur. Alles was man findet bezieht sich nur auf die Haustierhaltung. Kennt hier jemand Bücher, Zeitschriften etc.?

da du mehrere Fachbücher zum Thema bereits hast - schau dir doch die Literaturangaben mal durch, da solltest du auf Arbeiten stossen, die dir weiterhelfen können ;-)

Aber Tanja753 hat's schon gesagt:
Von den dort genannten Büchern gibt's keines hier in der Stadt und wenn ich die alle aus anderen Städten/Ländern kommen lasse ist das unerschwinglich.
Daher hoffe ich, dass hier Personen sind, die entsprechende Bücher kennen und mir sagen können, welche davon brauchbar sind.
Denn ein paar Bücher per Fernleihe zu beziehen oder das eine oder andere wirklich gute zu kaufen ist schon drinnen.

Naja nichts gegen Bücher aber wenn nach Angaben über Pogona aus freier Natur suchst solltest du vielleicht man nach wissenschaftlichen Artikeln suchen. Die sind dann auch über die Fernleihe billiger als Bücher. Vor allem wenn es eine Abschlußarbeit ist macht es einen schlechten Eindruck wenn keine wissenschaftliche Publikationen dabei sind. Durchsuche doch einfach den Zoological Record. Den hat deine Uni mit Sicherheit.

Da sind ein paar brauchbare Sachen dabei.

@ tarentola: Genau das versuch ich die ganze Zeit erfolglos! Egal was ich in die Suchmaschienen der Bibliotheken eingebe, ich krieg einfach keine Treffer, die in den Bereich wissenschaftliche Arbeiten fallen.
Leider hab ich noch nirgends ein Verzeichnis der Zoological Record Inhalte gefunden. Werd daher in den nächsten Tagen alle Ausgaben durchsehen müssen, sobald ich etwas Zeit hab.

Hat sonst noch jemand eine Idee?

Naja der Zoological Record ist ja selber nur ein Verzeichnis.
Das Inhaltesverzeichnis dort ist u.a. systematisch sortiert. Man muss sich eben die Mühe machen die einzelnen Jahrgänge durchzugehen. mache ich regelmäßig, weil die digitale Version nicht überall erhältlich ist und auch nur die neueren betrifft.

Hallo, hier eine kleine Auswahl von Zitaten. Es wurde äußerst viel über Pogona (früher zu Amphibolurus) in der Fachliteratur geschrieben. Sämtliche Zeitschriften-Artikel sind über Fernleihe beziehbar, meist sogar gleich die Kopie des entsprechenden Artikels. Sinnvoll wäre ein Besuch in einer Museumsbibliothek, die für jedermann geöffnet ist. Diese Bibliotheken führen die gängigen herpetologischen Zeitschriften.
