einheimische Gottesanbeterinnen

Hallo!
Ich weiss das es bei uns in Deutschland Mantis religiosa gibt, doch hab ich immer wieder auch von anderen Arten gelesen und gehört, die mir jetzt leider nicht mehr einfallen!
Welche Arten gibt es denn jetzt in Deutschland und wo kommen diese vor?

Hallo Salvador,
ich denke es wird bei dieser einen Mantide bleiben. Die sind allerdings am Kaiserstuhl recht häufig zu finden, allerdings erst im Herbst. Dann sieht man sie sogar an den Häuserwänden. Angeblich soll es auch welche im Saarland geben, aber das weiß ich nicht genau. Aber vielleicht gibt es ja doch mehr Arten. In Österreich gibt es auch Skorpione, von denen ich bis vor Kurzen noch nichts wußte.

Mantis religiosa und sonst nichts. Die Vorkommen sind als Rasterkartierung in "Heuschrecken Baden-Württembergs" von Detzel aufgelistet, es gibt schon noch ein paar mehr Vorkommen außerhalb des Kaiserstuhls. Da ist sie aber auch echt an vielen Böschungen zu finden.
Es gab sicherlich zahlreiche ungenehmigte Versuche welche anzusalben, d.h. künstlich anzusiedeln. Möglicherweise gibt es also noch mehr an wärmebegünstigten Orten, theoretisch könnte sie in Brandenburg auch vorkommen. Bis jetzt hat die natürliche Verbreitung allerdings nur über die burgundische Pforte stattgefunden und weiter als im Rheintal gehts da nicht weil es dazwischen einfach zu kalt ist.

Hatte nur in verschiedenen Büchern gelesen, das es wohl noch 2 weitere Arten geben soll!

Description
The organism
The insect species Mantis religiosa belongs to the taxon Mantodea (Orthopteroidea). Its natural (more or less continuous) distribution is in the mediterranean area and in Africa. Characteristic habitats are xerothermic areas with highly structured vegetation.

However, populations outside the continuous range of distribution are known to exist: well established populations have long been known from the Kaiserstuhl area, an ancient volcanic cone providing an island-like situation with xerothermic/mediterranean conditions within the Rhine Valley.

During the last couple of years, however, populations from other locations have been reported According to current Red List criteria, Mantis religiosa is regarded an “endangered species” in Germany.

In 1997, a population of Mantis religiosa was first observed in Berlin at railway areas at Priesterweg and Schöneberger Südgelände. Animals have been observed living close to the tracks, surrounded by dry grasslands within a postindustrial ruderal. The location is more than 800 km away from the closest known Mantis religiosa population in Kaiserstuhl. It is unclear whether the Berlin populations are voluntary introductions, natural yet ephemeral founder populations, or even the result of natural range expansions (perhaps in the course of climatic change).

Being predatory insects with a fairly wide prey spectrum, Mantis religiosa is believed to respond more directly to climatic change than e.g., host-specific herbivorous insects. Their fairly large body size, however, requires a defined minimal temperature regime to maintain a viable population. Thus, Mantis religiosa is an excellently suited model organism to study the impact of climatic change on organismic range expansions.

The present study which is being conducted in the framework of the graduate research program on “urban ecology” at Humboldt-University will investigate life history and population ecology of Berlin populations.

Research objectives are:

to identify habitat preferences, local extiction and spreading of populations of M. religiosa in Berlin
to correlate observed parameters with climatic information from corresponding locations
to study life history traits (nymphal mortality, reproduction rate) of these populations
to study parameters relevant to the population ecology and –dynamics of various Berlin populations (e.g., population density, seasonal variation, mobility, oviposition sites)

How to tackle these questions?
Standardized sampling and monitoring All developmental stages of select populations are monitored throughout the season to determine mortality rates among nymphal instars and imagines. It is expected that this will reveal the periods of highest vulnerability within the life cycle and possibly also give clues as to the major threats the study populations are subject too. These studies are complemented by mark – recapture experiments: Animals are being captured and marked within in a defined, separated and screened area. Obtained information includes survival rate, habitat preference, mobility. Additionally, weight measurements Measures are taken of living females during various stages of their development and of oothecae to obtain information on parental investment. M. religiosa individuals from a Berlin population will be reared in a laboratory environment under standardized conditions as a control for the data obtained from natural populations.

Du hast ja Recht, und ich bitte um Entschuldigung!
Ich wollte nur auf den Satz von marx reagieren, dass M. religiosa theoretisch auch in Brandenburg vorkommen könnte.

Och, ich fands interessant. Die Verbreitung mit Zügen oder Kies oder halt über TerranerInnen sollte nicht vernachlässigt werden. Und ein mantis Vorkommen in Berlin ist ja wohl eine Meldung wert.
