Hi
I'm new to the forum and are making plans to buy 1.2 C. calyptratus babies soon. For the little ones I built 3 terrarium to keep them in until the get big enough to move into the final terrariums. The small terrariums are 30 cm wide, 40 cm deep and 50 cm high. The hardest thing of all was the figure out the lighting for these smaller terrarium. This is the reason why I wish to post my plans for review before moving ahead.
First I would like to say I ordered a osram vita lux for the UV already, this seemed to be the safest way to go. This I will use 3 times a week for 15 minutes on a distance of 1 meter after the lamp is “warm”
But for the general light I was thinking:
2 x T5 Biolicht 21W they are 85 cm long and should fit well over all three terrariums
(here is the actual link:

and I understood I should be a bit careful with the basking spot, so I as thinking three small halogen spots 20W, maybe 10W is better?
(here is the link:

So, does this sound like a good plan?
For my adult terrariums I use HQL, but it seems to be a bit overkill for only 50 cm high terrariums.
Looking forward for feedback,
Carl Götlund
P.S. Please reply in German, I need the exercise.
